Thriversity proudly celebrated Culture Day, honoring one of the world’s oldest and richest civilizations — the Indus Valley Civilization. This culture is deeply rooted in our identity, and the occasion gave our students and teachers a chance to express their love and connection to their homeland.
The program was filled with heartfelt speeches delivered by both teachers and students, each highlighting the beauty, values, and traditions of our culture. Cultural songs filled the atmosphere with energy and pride, while poetry was recited as a tribute to the land of Sindh, reminding everyone of the depth and richness of its heritage.
The celebration was not just about entertainment, but also about reflection. It reminded our young generation of the responsibility they carry to preserve and promote their culture in the modern world. By remembering the struggles and achievements of our ancestors, the students felt a stronger bond with their roots and gained a deeper respect for their history.
Another highlight of the event was the sense of unity it created. Everyone, from teachers to students, joined hands in celebrating together. The hall became a place where tradition met youthful spirit, where songs and poetry connected generations, and where love for culture could be seen in every smile and performance.
No Sindhi celebration is complete without the iconic “Ho Jamalo.” Together, students and teachers joined in a cultural dance on this beloved folk song, bringing the event to a joyful and spirited conclusion. The hall echoed with pride, happiness, and unity as everyone celebrated their roots.
